Product Description

TIGER WL-36 BEAM CLAMP -HDG (MAX FLANGE SIZE: 33MM)

The Tiger WL-36 Beam Clamp – HDG (Max Flange Size: 33 mm) is basically a mechanical device that lets you create a secure lifting or anchoring point on an existing steel beam without welding, drilling, or damaging the beam

How to Use

(Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines.)

  1. Inspect Before Use

    • Check the clamp for cracks, deformation, rust, or missing parts.

    • Verify the load capacity matches or exceeds your application.

    • Ensure the beam flange is ≤ 33 mm thick.

  2. Open the Clamp

    • Rotate or loosen the threaded screw/adjuster to open the jaws wide enough to fit over the beam flange.

  3. Position on the Beam

    • Place the clamp over the top flange of the I-beam or H-beam at the desired location.

    • Ensure it’s fully seated and aligned—no partial contact.

  4. Tighten Securely

    • Use the clamp’s screw spindle or bolt to tighten the jaws against the flange.

    • It should be firm enough that it cannot slide along the beam under load.

  5. Attach Lifting Equipment

    • Connect your hoist, chain block, pulley, or load to the clamp’s lifting eye/shackle.

    • Make sure the load is vertical unless the clamp is designed for angled pulls.

  6. Test with Light Load

    • Apply a small initial load to ensure the clamp is stable before proceeding to full load.

  7. After Use

    • Remove the clamp by loosening the screw spindle and sliding it off the flange.

    • Store it in a dry place to protect the hot-dip galvanizing.
